  • Overview

    Sundt Construction's Equipment Services Division manages all of the company's heavy equipment, some of which we own and and many times some that we rent during the construction process.  Equipment Services also manages our internal Vehicle Fleet which includes all marked and unmarked Sundt vehicles (Sedan's, Trucks, SUV's, etc.). 

     

    Coordinators with Sundt are responsible for providing administrative, secretarial, and clerical support to a project.  However in this case the Project Administrator will be based in our Phoenix Office and responsible for providing support to the Equipment Services Division.

    Responsibilities

    Some of the responsibilities involved may include but are not limited to:

     

    1. Processing time cards weekly for up to 20 employees through our HCSS Heavy Job software program.
    2. Managing heavy equipment fuel costs through our proprietary Equipment Management System (EMS).
    3. Logging fuel quantities.
    4. Reviewing weekly equipment time reports and notifying job teams of needed corrections.
    5. Entering and revising time for equipment as needed.
    6. Working in our enterprise software system to help generate reports as needed.
    7. Participate in the conversion from our old Enterprise system to our new and improved one which will include a Maintenance module (Training will be included/offered).
    8. Monitor and report on D.O.T. and crane inspections.
    9. Provide support and back up for Fleet Specialist.

     

    Qualifications

    Minimum Job Requirements:

     

    1. Two-year accounting degree or equivalent combination of business training and/or related experience.
    2. Must be proficient with word processing and spreadsheet software.
    3. Good organizational skills are necessary.
    4. Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs.

    Physical Requirements

    1. Will sit, stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift/work day.
    2. Occasionally will climb stairs, ladders, etc.
    3. Will lift, push or pull objects on an occasional basis
    4. Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis
    5. Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures
    6. May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis
    7. May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis
    8. Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to; steel toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hardhat, vest, etc.)
    9. Will interact with people frequently during a shift/work day
    10. May use telephone, computer system, email, or other electronic devices on a limited basis to communicate with internal and external customers or vendors
