Provides staff support to line management/supervision on safety and loss prevention programs, to maintain a safe
work environment under the guidelines of the company safety program and governmental requirements and assists
with employee relation of field personnel. Usually works in an assigned geographic area to service jobsites. He or
she may supervise or support on site safety personnel.
Conducts safety audits for each assigned area/project on a regularly scheduled basis.
Identifies and recommends corrective measures for unsafe acts and conditions.
Provides safety training, including developing and conducting safety classes.
Assures compliance with governmental regulations dealing with Safety and Health.
Responds quickly to manage crisis situations and investigate accidents.
Promotes employee relations and morale of field workforce.
Coordinates drug testing procedures in the field.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Position requires a minimum of an associates degree, CHST or similiar and a Bachelor's degree and CSP preferred.
Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with people.
A (CSP) designation or continuing progress toward attainment of the (CSP) designation is required for this position.
Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs.

Will sit, stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift/work day.
Occasionally will climb stairs, ladders, etc.
Will lift, push or pull objects on an occasional basis
Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis
Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures
May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis
May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis
Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to; steel toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hardhat, vest, etc.)
Will interact with people frequently during a shift/work day
May use telephone, computer system, email, or other electronic devices on a limited basis to communicate with internal and external customers or vendors
